Haitians eating Ohio Pets
Are Haitians eating ducks from Springfields Ohio parks?
Brace yourself!

Social media has gone wild over this news.

It has been so viral even Ex-president Trump and his Vice President Nominee Vance is using it in their campaign to convince voters that the Biden-Harris open border policy has been a complete nightmare.

They claimed that Haitian migrants are eating all of Springfield, Ohio parks' cats, dogs, ducks, and geese.

You may not believe this, but I swear I am telling you the truth. These stories are completely false.

Look:

This is not the first time Haitians have been accused of that type of thing. They have been through this before.

Allow me to share three shocking examples with you.
  1. In 2010, a massive earthquake of magnitude seven completely demolished Haiti? Mega televangelist, Pat Robertson, from CBN unleashed a firestorm when he commented in a broadcast that the quake destroyed Haiti because Haitians made a pack with the devil. 500,000 Haitians died as a result of that quake, but Pat claimed this happened as a result of a devilish pack. Rest in peace in the bosom of the devil, Pat.

  2. In 2016, after Hurricane Matthew smashed Haiti to pieces Jennifer Delgado, a meteorologist from the Weather Channel claimed that this happened because Haitians ate all the trees. The backlash was brutal after her comment went viral on social media.

  3. Lastly, in the late '80s, the American Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) incorrectly inferred that Haiti was the entry point for AIDS in the US. That accusation, too, unleashed a firestorm of anger and protests all over the US and Haiti.
Guess what these events have in common? Massive Haitian migration into the US.

Every time there is a huge influx of Haitians into the US, someone always tries to pin something on Haitians.

So the recent online rumor from Springfield, Ohio, is not too different from the past accusations the Haitian community has faced.

The claim that Haitian migrants are catching and eating ducks, cats, geese, and other pets in Springfield, Ohio is a lie. This baseless allegation has quickly spread on social media, causing unnecessary fear and prejudice against the Haitian community.

Local officials and community leaders have vehemently denied these claims, stating that no evidence supports such a disturbing accusation. The Springfield Police Department has conducted thorough investigations and found no reports of any such incidents.

"There is absolutely no truth to these rumors," said Rob Rue the Mayor of Springfield. "Our city is committed to welcoming and supporting all residents, regardless of their background or origin. We will not tolerate the spread of misinformation that harms our community."

The Haitian community in Springfield has also condemned the false allegations, emphasizing their peaceful and law-abiding nature. Many Haitian immigrants have become integral members of the community contributing to the city's economy and culture.

The spread of misinformation can have serious consequences, including fostering division and discrimination. It is important to verify information before sharing it online.

If you encounter suspicious or unverified claims, please contact reputable news sources or local authorities for accurate information.
